Anencephaly Awareness

In 2011, a community of parents who have experienced child loss due to anencephaly collaborated and voted to choose colors and a ribbon to represent anencephaly. It was decided that the anencephaly awareness ribbon would encorporate green (the awareness color for neural tube defects) as well as pink and blue (the colors for pregnancy and infant loss). The ribbon is a green ribbon with a strip of pink down one side and blue on the other.
